Why Choose Glucalphos™?
A cow’s ultimate balancing act – the transition period – doesn’t always play out as planned, giving way to metabolic problems. That’s when it’s time to reach for a bag or a bottle of metabolic solutions.
The building blocks of the Elanco range of metabolic solutions are calcium, magnesium, energy. All are necessary, and work together for healthy metabolic processes.
They are interconnected, relying on each other to remain in balance.
Glucalphos includes calcium, magnesium and energy (in the form of dextrose), for the treatment of milk fever and milk fever complicated by ketosis and grass staggers in cattle.
Elanco Metabolic Solutions are supported by a technical team including veterinarians providing science-based advice, regulatory and pharmacovigilance support. The products are also made under sterile conditions in a purpose-built facility, so quality can be maintained throughout the process to ensure they are suitable for intravenous use.
