Dosage

Milk Fever - Prevention

Administer one bottle (650 mL) 24 hours before calving, one bottle at calving, one bottle 10 - 12 hours after calving and one bottle 24 hours after calving. 

Milk Fever - Treatment

In conjunction with intravenous calcium treatment: Administer one bottle (650 mL) as soon as the cow is able to stand and can swallow normally. Repeat the same dosage (650 mL) 10 - 12 hours later.

Ketosis

Administer one bottle (650 mL) twice daily.

General Calcium Supplementation

Give one bottle (650 mL) morning and night for two days.

Initial milk fever treatment with an injectable calcium solution is typically fast and immediately effective; however, the chance of relapse remains a risk, extending recovery time, increasing labour, and reducing milk in the vat.
