Description
OUTLAW is a broad spectrum endectocide. It contains abamectin, a member of the macrocyclic lactone (avermectin/milbemycin) family. It also contains levamisole base, a member of the imidazothiazole class of anthelmintics, with efficacy against internal parasites sensitive to this family, especially lungworm and Cooperia.

INDICATIONS

For the treatment and control of mature and immature stages of internal parasites, including endectocide-resistant strains, and lungworm in all types of cattle.

Read Label before use.

Avoid contact with skin.

Gastrointestinal worms:

Ostertagia ostertagi*, Ostertagia lyrata*, Cooperia oncophora*, Cooperia surnabada*, Cooperia punctata*, Trichostrongylus longispicularis, Trichostrongylus axei, and mature Trichuris spp.(* Includes inhibited L4 stage larvae)

OUTLAW is also highly effective in the treatment and control of mature and immature stains of Cooperia spp. resistant to the endectocides (including eprinomectin and doramectin).

Levamisole is also very active against susceptible benzimidazole-resistant strains.

Lungworms: Adult and immature Dictyocaulus viviparous.

External Parasites: For the treatment and control of suckling lice in cattle, including:

Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenoptes capillatus.

OUTLAW is effective against all internal parasites sensitive to either or both active families.

Resistance can develop to any anthelmintic. Ask your local veterinary practitioner or animal health advisor for recommended parasite management practices for your area to reduce the development of resistance. It is advisable that a resistance test be conducted regularly when using any parasite treatment.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

By law the user must take due care, obtaining expert advice when necessary, to avoid unnecessary pain and distress when using the product other than as directed on the label.

For external use only. Shake well before use. Correct drenching technique should be used. A representative sample of animals should be weighed before treatment. Draft animals into lines of similar bodyweight, then dose according to the weight of the heaviest animal in the line. Where there is a large variation in size within the group, draft into two or more lines based on bodyweight to avoid excessive overdosing.
Check the accuracy of drench guns regularly. Do NOT underdose.

Administer topically onto the skin along the midline of the back, from the withers to the base of the tail, using standard pour-on equipment.

MEAT – Cattle producing meat or offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter either during treatment or within 42 days of the last treatment.

MILK – Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded during treatment and for not less than 42 days following the last treatment.
