Protecting Bee Health

The work that honey bees do is of great importance to humans. Many crops, for example, rely on pollination by bees and other insects. This is why protecting and improving bee health is vital.

One of the most destructive threats to bees is Varroa desctructor, a parasitic mite now found in nearly every part of the world.

With only a few effective control methods available, combining these with good beekeeping practices, it is possible to minimise the harm caused by Varroa and better manage its impact.
