​​Flubenol™ Oral Wormer for Pigs and Chickens

Flubenol™ is a broad-spectrum de-wormer mixed into a premix or final feed. It contains flubendazole, which has efficacy against all life stages of commonly found worms in chickens ¹,²,³. Flubenol aids in the control of sensitive strains of Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinarum, Capillaria spp. and Raillietina spp. in chickens. In pigs, Flubenol aids in the control of sensitive strains of Gastrointestinal worms (Ascaris suum, Hyostrongylus rubidis, Oesophagostomum dentatum) and lungworm (Metastrongylus apri).

Flubenol™ Important Information 

Always read the product label thoroughly before use for maximum safety and efficacy. This product is contraindicated for pigeons and parrots. Do not overdose. 

Directions for use

Dosage and administration 

Use treated feeds within 6 months of preparation. Flubenol should be thoroughly mixed into feed. Feed can be administered as a mash, crumble or pellet. Refer to the product label for dosage information. Resistance may develop to any chemical. Ensure birds have access to feed to enable consumption of the required dose. Stringent housing hygiene management is essential for optimal worm control.  

Withholding Periods 

MEAT (CHICKEN): REMOVE ALL MEDICATED FEED 7 days before slaughter for human consumption. 

EGGS: Zero (0) days. 

MEAT (PIG): REMOVE ALL MEDICATED FEED 7 days before slaughter for human consumption.   

TRADE ADVICE - PIGS - Export Slaughter Interval (ESI): DO NOT USE less than 7 days before slaughter for export. Before using this product, confirm the current ESI from Elanco Australia Pty Ltd on 1800 226 324 or the APVMA website (www.apvma.gov.au/residues).
