Iron deficiency anaemia is the most prevalent deficiency disorder throughout the early postnatal period in piglets and can frequently develop into a critical illness if left untreated. Newborn piglets have limited iron supply and sows’ milk only provides minute amounts of iron. Vitamin B12 also plays an intrinsic role in the formation of red bloods cells and therefore the prevention of anaemia.

Feron™ 200 + B12 Important Information
Administer Feron™ 200 + B12 within the first 3 days of the piglet’s life, but not after four weeks of age, only into muscle tissue.
Dosage and Administration
Refer to the label for all product information.
Shake well before use.
Dosage: 1mL/piglet.
Administer into the muscle tissue of the hind leg or on the side of the neck of each animal within the first three days of life using a 15mm x 19 gauge needle.
This product is not to be administered to piglets after the first four weeks of life.
