Component™ TE-S Growth & Finishing Implants for Steers

Component TE-S contains oestrogenic and androgenic compounds and is recommended for lotfed cattle (>80 days on feed), particularly European and European crossbred cattle with leaner carcases. When used in combination, these compounds exert an additive effect, giving an increased rate of weight gain and improved feed efficiency in steers. The increase in bodyweight is predominantly lean meat and not fat.

Key Product Benefits:

  • Maximise rate of weight gain and feed efficiency in steers
  • Offers flexibility to turn off cattle sooner, or heavier
  • Maximise profits through optimizing productivity
  • Optimise production efficiency, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions per kilogram of beef produced1,2.
