Elector PSP has organic classification (certified allowed input) in Australia and contains 480 g/L of the active ingredient, spinosad, which belongs to the spinosyn group of chemicals.  Spinosyn is unrelated to any other product used in the Australian poultry industry, thereby helping to manage chemical resistance when used in a rotation program with Elanco products such as Agita, Larvadex and Prolong Ultra.

Using Elector PSP as part of an integrated pest control management program is important for managing chemical resistance.

Elector™ PSP Important Information

Good agricultural practice is essential for optimal control of flies and darkling beetles, and optimal poultry red mite suppression. For insecticide resistance management Elector is a Group 5 insecticide.

Dosage and Administration

Full directions for use, including restraints and withholding periods can be found on the label. 

Always read and follow the label directions.

Withholding Periods

POULTRY CHICKEN SHEDS: 

MEAT: DO NOT slaughter for 7 days after incidental spraying onto chickens and their sheds. 

EGGS: Zero (0) days after treatment. 

BEEF, DAIRY AND HORSE PREMISES: 

MEAT: DO NOT slaughter for 21 days after introduction of animals to treated areas in situations where animals have continual access to treated surfaces (eg with litter on floors or in nests, feedlots and stables). 

MILK: WHP not required when used as directed.
